The CLEEN Foundation wishes to invite you to a Media briefing on the commencement of the 2012National Crime Victimization and Safety Survey.

The survey is designed to measure the extent and patterns of crime and victimization in the country as well as provide public perceptions of safety (including road safety) and criminal justice institutions. This is done with a view to provide a complementary source of data for official statistics on crime. It also aims at providing policy makers in the criminal justice system with empirical information which will guide deployment of security resources as well as provide quantitative sources of information with which present reform programs can be assessed.
